According to Section 77C of the Fraternity Laws, brothers may be suspended from the Fraternity for offenses detailed in Section 74. Suspended members have their membership privileges removed temporarily for a period of time until the suspension has been lifted.
should be completed by the Eminent Archon of the chapter following the suspension vote and procedures as detailed in Section 77C.
At the end of this form, click "Submit," and the Suspension Form will be routed to the member services department at the Fraternity Service Center. Then, the Eminent Archon or other acting officer should retrieve the suspendee"s badge and hold onto until the suspension is lifted, if it is lifted. The Eminent Archon must contact the member services department in order to reclassify a suspended member as either an active member or an alumnus.
In addition, do not forget to remove the suspended brother from all chapter paperwork, including but not limited to school, Interfratenity Council and province rosters.
