  • Thank you for your interest in a Museum Veterinary Medicine Internship with Veterinary Services at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences. We are looking for students that are responsible and enthusiastic with a positive attitude. A strong work ethic and willingness to get dirty and adjust to changes quickly is critical. We need interns that have good communication skills and the ability to work independently with confidence. Our work is fast paced, sometimes hectic, but always rewarding.

Due to the high number of applications each semester, we are unable to interview everyone. Your answers on this application, along with your cover letter, resume, unofficial transcript, and two reference letters will help us in our selections. Your application is therefore very important, so please carefully read each question and provide thoughtful answers. If you are selected for an interview you will be contacted. As our selections are limited to approximately two students per semester, we never have enough spaces for all of the excellent applicants that we want to accept. We often encourage applicants that are not selected to reapply the following semester.
