In order to benefit Club Rugby during the attention paid to the USA vs. New Zealand match in Chicago, the USA Rugby Club Department is seeking out senior clubs and/or unions to host club player combine events. These combines will be advertised on usarugby.org in the lead-up to the event, on the event's day, and during the immediate aftermath of the event. One of the goals of these combines is to attract crossover athletes into the game of rugby, with a particular emphasis on landing these athletes in senior clubs around the country. Exceptional athletes may even be considered for invitation to High Performance camps and assemblies, and may be encouraged to attend Serevi Rugby camps. Notably, combines themselves are not camps, and may not be promoted as such for the purpose of this opportunity.
In exchange for promotion of their combine, Hosting Clubs are expected to follow the guidelines as detailed in this application.

USA Rugby hopes to make the 'combine' concept a permanent fixture for club recruiting, and will continue to use this tool throughout 2014-2015 and beyond.
