You will be reading written sentences and verbally interpreting them into the target language. Some sentences are longer than others.

When recording by phone, do NOT hang up until you are instructed to do so. Simply stay on the line and interpret the next questions. You do not need to hang up after every question.
Call the Voicebox number before starting the exam to make sure that you are able to connect. If you are not able to connect to the line, hang up and try again in 20-30 minutes, or on the another day.
You may hear an error message if another person is recording on the line. Please hang up and try again in 20-30 minutes, or try calling at a different time. Do not keep dialing the number as this can cause problems with the recording of the person who is already on the line. Thank you.
Please call the number now, before you click on Start the Test to make sure that you are able to connect. Record your name and your language pair.
Recording by computer:
Click on the Record icon to record. Click STOP after recording. Make sure to click STOP after you are done recording your answers.
You will be recording your answers to each question separately.
If you are not able to record either by computer or by phone due to a Technical Issue, do not continue with the exam. Please contact Culture Advantage or submit your request using the MESSAGE CENTER. EXIT this page. Close the window of your browser.
