2013 Playground Dance Competition

This is an open dance competition for Bowling Green State University students. An expert panel of judges will evaluate technique,execution, creativity, choreography, and overall effectiveness. A rubric is available with registration materials.

Individual and group performers are invited to enter the competition. All dance styles and types are permitted, however this is a fun and friendly environment and routines should reflect such an environment. No one person will be allowed to compete in more than two dances (songs).

All application forms must be received by 10:15pm on February 22, 2013. Each dancer/group should be prepared to dance 1 song with a maximum time of 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Any props or needed accessories must be provided by the dancer(s). The contest will start at 10:30pm SHARP!! All dancers must arrive and be ready by 10:10pm. Dancers not present at this time will be eliminated from the competition. Performer order will be determined by the registration order. Winners will be announced at the end of the Big Playground Event.
